Cedar & Steam was born in a small garage in the Plateau, fueled by a single-minded obsession: finding the perfect balance between the ruggedness of the Canadian landscape and the delicate science of the bean.

Our founders spent years traveling to high-altitude coffee estates, building direct relationships with farmers who share our commitment to regenerative agriculture. We brought those stories back to Montreal, where we roast in small batches to preserve the unique voice of every origin.

We believe coffee is more than a morning ritual—it's a moment of connection to the earth and the hands that tended it.
